We are a private studio and therefore work on an appointment only basis for all appointments or consultations. If you would like to have a face to face chat about a tattoo enquiry please contact us to arrange a time to come into the studio.

About US

The Awakening is a private tattoo studio based in the heart of Glasgow city centre, run by Carron and Conor Johnstone.

Carron and Conor met through tattooing and got married in summertime 2022. Their main goal was to open their own studio together which came to life later on in 2022.

The name ‘The Awakening’ comes from the term ‘spiritual awakening’ which has a lot of personal meaning to both Carron and Conor, so it was only right that they named their studio this.

Together they have almost 20 years studio experience and vast knowledge of all styles.

Services

Tattoo's

Due to artists workloads, your design will be ready to view on the day and not before. Any changes can be made on the day. Bear in mind, artists will draw up the best piece possible from reference images as they know what will work best.

Deposits

A deposit is strictly required at the time of booking. Deposits are non refundable but transferable in the case of a cancellation if more than 48 hours notice is given before the scheduled appointment time. If you do need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please give as much notice as possible as it could have a huge impact on your artists day. If you do cancel within the 48 hour period before your appointment and would like to reschedule, a further deposit will be required.
